Gillian Egan

Gillian obtained her diploma in dental technology in 1986 and has devoted over 35 years to the manufacture of chrome appliances.

Gillian has built up an excellent reputation throughout the industry and is highly regarded as a chrome technician.

Gillian has been instrumental in leading the UK in the latest digital techniques for RPD’s and was the first commercial laboratory to adopt an all digital approach for Chrome frameworks.

She has spent the last few years helping research and develop new products with some of the UK’s major suppliers and has now introduced a range of metal free millable materials for RPD’s

Gillian runs teaching and educational courses in all aspects of rpd design throughout the UK and Europe and is happy to share her knowledge and passion.

Outside of the laboratory, Gillian loves spending time with her two daughters and her Labrador puppy. Gillian’s other hobbies include tennis and golf.

Richards dental career started over 40 years ago working for the largest commercial dental lab in the UK.

When he started full-time as a technician his artistic talents were soon seen by the dental industry, regularly representing the laboratory at  exhibitions and demonstrations on Gnathomat (BPS) dentures. 

 

Qualifying at Leeds in 1985 he gained a diploma in dental technology achieving the highest marks of his year.

Richard continues to further his dental education attending training programs to keep ahead with the many new technical advances which he has seen over the last 40 years .

It is with his flare and knowledge within his dental field that he can provide the ultimate in life like prosthetics.

He is also a World Opinion  Leader for Ivoclar Vivadent  both lecturing and presenting workshops on the biofunctinal prosthetics system (BPS) and also digital photography to all the dental industry.

Outside of work Richard spends his spare time enjoying portrait photography and walking with his young dog - Bertie.
